I have been playing the acoustic guitar 'by ear' for thirty-seven years, yet this is the first time that I have found a book which explains to me in clear, simple ways, not only the principles behind most of what I have achieved so far but also provides me with techniques to raise my game considerably. Even though I am no beginner to the instrument, I believe that going through the first few chapters to master the basic theoretical knowledge is necessary, so, actually, no part of the book is superfluous.
